ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE​

Accepting that you need treatment is a big step, and we don’t want to discourage you by making you go through a lot of paperwork and procedures. At Peace of Mind Wellness Center, we strive to make the admissions process as painless as possible so that you can concentrate on what you came to do: heal.

We’ll do an evaluation as soon as you contact us so that we can start treating you right away. We’ll take care of practically everything else, including notifying the appropriate parties, contacting insurance companies, and, if necessary, police and social services. As you return to health, we’ll be there for you every step of the way.

REFERRAL REQUIREMENTS

Each client is treated individually by Peace Of Mind Wellness Center. The permission of a Peace Of Mind Wellness Center executive or center director is required if a client is referred to us as a medically essential case by an agency.

A referral packet will be needed of all outside agencies requesting placement for their clients. Within 24 hours after receipt, Peace Of Mind Wellness Center will contact the requesting agency to confirm receipt. If more information is needed, the requesting agency will be notified within 48 hours of the package being submitted.

The requesting agency will be notified of our desire to treat within 48 hours of receiving a completed referral packet. The agency will receive a written denial of services if the case is not approved. If a client’s mental health needs are discovered to be beyond our scope of services, Peace Of Mind Wellness Center will assist the client in finding another organization that can satisfy their needs.
